Jon Kozesky is the Founder and President of Jon Thomas Consulting, contributing well over a decade of government affairs experience. Jon began his government affairs experience in the Ohio Statehouse, before serving in the office of U.S. Congressman Steven LaTourette. It was in Congressman LaTourette’s office that Jon realized the pivotal importance of bi-partisanship, a practice that Jon strictly abides to in his role with the Energy Ohio Network.
From this position, Jon went on to work for then-United States Senator, and former Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton, where he served as the Senator’s grants manager, and as a speechwriter on the Senator’s communications team. It was only after having served for both a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives, and a Democratic member of the United States Senate, that Jon realized the pivotal importance of bi-partisanship, a practice Jon Thomas Consulting is committed to utilizing.
After leaving the United States Senate, and before founding Jon Thomas Consulting, Jon worked for Washington, D.C.’s largest private lobbying firm, Van Scoyoc Associates, serving countless Fortune 500 companies, as well as national nonprofit organizations, and municipalities. Jon’s true passion was always in serving entrepreneur-led small businesses and community nonprofits, ensuring that they had the same opportunities afforded to Fortune 500 companies, in the realms of business development and government affairs.
